Few Words About ASSET UAE

With the very interest of SSETians in United Arab Emirates an alumni was formed on 17 th April 2009 with 79 members and it is called after “ASSET UAE” (Alumni of SCMS School of Engineering & Technology).

The forum was formally inaugurated by Mr. Ajeesh Nair, General Secretary AKCAF (All Kerala Colleges Alumni Forum) on 14 th August 2009 at Karama Hotel, Dubai . Now the Alumni is functioning as an active socio cultural organization with a strength of about 100 members in our rolls.

SSET is a leading new generation Engineering college offering graduate and postgraduate programmes in various streams of engineering and technology. The programmes offered are B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science and Automobile Engineering. With an intake capacity of 420 seats in six branches, SSET is the largest Engg.College under the self- financing scheme in Kerala. The SSET is situated in the midst of an idyllic 27-acre rubber plantation. The Campus comprises of the Main Engineering College Building with 75000 sq. ft of built up space which accommodates Classrooms, Faculty Offices, Administrative Office, Library, Computer Lab, Electronics and Microprocessor Labs, Laboratories, Workshops , Machine shop and Heat Engine Lab which are strategically located around the main building in the campus. Hostels for boys and girls also are at the campus, very close to the college building.
